This page explains how the survival server works.
This server is a mostly vanilla Minecraft Survival world that is just for server members to have fun. It includes several plugins that provide many quality of life improvements, they are as follows:
- Better RTP: A fairly simple plugin that allows a player to randomly teleport somewhere in the world.
- Chunky: An admin plugin that allows admins to force the server to generate chunks within the world border. This decreases lag, as generating chunks is quite CPU-intensive.
- Decent Holograms: Allows the placement of holograms in the world. This plugin is currently only used at the world spawn.
- EssentialsX (and related modules): Provides a huge amount of “essential” commands to the server. This includes warps, homes, teleport requests, and more.
- Grief Prevention: Allows players to create personal claims that other players cannot interact with. This allows players to protect their builds and encourages play time as the longer you play, the more claim blocks you accrue.
- Fast Async World Edit: Allows admins to modify large chunks of the landscape using commands.
- QuickShops: Allows players to setup a shop to buy and sell items from other players.
- Tree Feller: If a player breaks a tree log, the entire tree will break apart.
This is not an exhaustive list, but covers the main plugins for this server.
A list of useful commands for this server:
/tpa [PLAYER]Requests to teleport to the specified player. The other player will have to accept this request with/tpaccept. The requesting player can also cancel this request with/tpacancel/tpahere [PLAYER]Does the opposite of the above command; teleports the specified player to the player that runs the command after they accept./tpautoWill enable automatic acceptance of teleport requests./spawnTeleports you back to the world spawn point./rtpRandomly teleports you somewhere in the world./sethome [HOME]Sets a “home” location that you can teleport back to later. You can put whatever you want in HOME./home [HOME]This is the command you use to teleport to a home after you have created it. If you have multiple homes and run this command without specifying one, it will show you a list of all homes, and ask you to specify./delhome [HOME]Allows you to delete your home(s)/claimbook [PLAYER]Gives you an instruction book on how to use the GriefPrevention plugin to claim land. Note that you will need a stick and a golden shovel to claim land. Each player will receive 200 claim blocks when they join the server and receive an additional 100 claim blocks per hour played, up to a max of 80,000. Players can have as many claims as they wish as long as they do not exceed their claim block limit. If you need additional claim blocks, you can request more from an admin./afkMarks your player as “away from keyboard”. This will also trigger automatically after five minutes of inactivity. When AFK, your player cannot be harmed, moved, or pick up items./trashWill open a chest-like interface. Anything placed into this “chest” will be permanently deleted once this interface is closed./pingWill return a message from the server. This is primarily to test your connection to the server./tpsWill return server memory statistics./rulesWill return a list of server rules.
This list is not exhaustive! For a full list of all commands and what they do, you can run /help.
